Hello Team Members,
Please make sure when you enroll students into classes you use the students 1st day they attended your building. You can find this by viewing the students Enrollment History
If a student transfers between buildings make sure you update the RCDTS codes for the new building's course enrollment
If you deliver a student today and that student is starting today then the enrollment into classes should be today not 8/21/2025
If a students schedule is changed then the drop date of the current classes is tomorrow and then the date entered into the new schedule is also tomorrow. We do not set the new schedule and back date to 8/21/2025 as the student was not in that class on 8/21/25
NOTE: When there is a gap between the start date (entrydate) and the first time the student gets enrolled into classes the student will have a negative attendance value in the ADA/ADM reports
If the student's attendance code for 5 days straight is NS (not yet started) Those are 5 absences. Those absences will impact your schools attendance rate. At this point decide if you are keeping those absences or are adjusting the attendance code, the entrydate date and course enrollments dates for when the student actually arrives
Teachers should only use the NS code if the student has never ever in the 25-26 school year attended their class. If this is the case then it might be best to drop the schedule until the student steps foot into the building for the first time in the 25-26 school year
